How the scoring works
Each category is converted to a 0–100 internal score from published specifications. Performance uses CPU/GPU tier and memory bandwidth; capacity uses maximum unified memory and SSD; display rewards resolution, brightness and XDR capability; mobility combines device portability and quoted battery life; connectivity uses port capability and external-display support; value uses published UK starting price where available. The slider weights are yours, so the result changes when your priorities change.
This is intentionally not a conventional review. Keyboard feel, fan noise, software compatibility, repairability and real-world sustained performance can matter enormously, but they are outside a spec-only comparison.
